From the arrival of the driver to Capital Caring I knew we had made the correct choice. Very seldom does one come into contact with a group of people that from the first time they meet you, you know that they not only understand what you are going through but care. Thornton Funderal Home, P.A. is the best funeral home in the Metro Washington D.C. area. The facilities are up-to-date and are immaculately maintained. Words cannot express how wonderful it was to work with Mrs. Lydia Johnson. Her sincere empathy was felt by all the members of our family. My father, Stanley DeWitt Gaines, was 80 years old when he passed away. Just prior to his passing, I personally met with Mrs. Johnson. She presented to me a reasonable, concise price list and we worked together to plan my father's transition. My siblings, our spouses, our children, and my mother all commented on how blessed we were to have been led to Mrs. Johnson and Thornton Funeral Home, P.A. With 100% certainty I highly recommend their services.
