Top Dollar Pawn & Jewelry

Stopped in this shop one day a couple weeks ago and I still can't stop thinking about the incredible experience I had there! Chris warmly welcomed my wife and I, and was such an amazing help while we were looking for jewelry. He was so patient with us, and listened to our needs and wants. And while we didn't find exactly what we wanted that day, I can guarantee you that I will absolutely make the drive down to Waldorf again just so Chris can help us out.nnHands down the best experience I've ever had in a pawn shop!

Today was my first day doing business with this Pawn shop. The atmosphere is very clean, and the service is A+++++. Because of the great service I received today, I plan to continue doing business with this company forever if possible. Thanks for providing me with great customer service, knowledge, and a friendly environment!!!!

Top Dollar in Waldorf used to be reliable and consistent, whether going in to purchase or pawn. However, I've noticed over the past several months that I've been turned away or have felt compelled to leave, regardless of why I've entered the store. I don't particularly enjoy being told that what I'm bringing in isn't worth more than 10% of it's real value when I'm aware of two facts: first, I know beforehand the value of the item(s) I'm bringing in, and second, I realize that Top Dollar must make a profit on the items they purchase from customers, so I don't expect a lottery winning. Next, it appears that the Waldorf store doesn't really need sales, when after waiting for assistance with a couple of items, already knowing I'd like to purchase, none of the employees seemed to want to move from behind the counter to offer help, even with only one other customer besides me in the store. Last, as an educated woman, I'm not fond of being interrogated by two men behind the counter about my expertise regarding the item(s) I'm looking to sell, and then further made to feel like I've brought in nothing more than garbage. Finally, after looking over the Top Dollar website, I noticed a real lack of knowledge on pricing; therefore, possibly associates and management could stand to brush up on customer service skills, people and communication skills, customer sales/selling, current trends, styles, values, and pricing to help Top Dollar represent what people really need right now, which is not arrogance or price gouging.

Wonderful shop, very helpful in need. Great customer service. They are very nice. I will recommend this place to everyone. Best pawn at all time. Give you more for everything you looking for. Best store in town.thsnk you guys

Went to this store with my wife a few weeks ago just to browse around on a little road trip. I felt pretty nervous at first seeing a shop full of men, sometimes we overhear or experience homophobic comments in situations like this, so we never know what to expect!! I spoke to the employee Chris who came up and welcomed us very warmly as soon as we walked in, he was so patient and nice with us that all of my anxieties melted away!! We didn't end up finding anything unfortunately but I definitely feel confident to go back and ask for him. He is very knowledgeable about everything in the store which was so cool! So much to see here!! We will be back if we end up in Waldorf anytime soon! Dont forget- Ask for CHRIS!!!
