I received the recertification for my foodstamps i filled it out and give them all my documents. And I been calling the 800 number no one answer the phones. What's going on. I need my foodstamps plus I put the documents in the Dropbox outside of Social services.
I been wait for someone call me for my interview for my foodstamp for almost a mouth and i have a 2 and a 5 year old to eat and I dont understand why it they taking sooo long to call me what I about to do is report them that how I feel right now
I sent in my recertification they said I didn't they cancelled my food stamps I am on disability because of MS lupus and fibromyalgia and arthritis from waiting tables for 30. Yrs. Every penny counts. Now I have no food they told me to call 211. Now they tell I have to reapply and they could take 30 to 60 days this is crazy they are punishing me for there error.
Case manager reached out, said he would get me squared away by tomorrow.
My visit was quick and straight forward. Staff is friendly, much easier than trying to get someone on the phone.
