Louisiana Purchase Gardens & Zoo

Was very busy during Easter of course. The staff working there was amazing. Only a 3 star rating because they need to manage their funding better in my opinion. Wish the zoo owned more land for animals to roam, but then again it is a zoo.

Very nice zoo with tons of animals! The set-up allows for some great views of the animals and the landscaping is gorgeous. The only downfall is all the construction.

Under construction!! Signs wrong on cages...sometimes no sign. Really looked like one was in the wilderness. Bathroom did have toilet paper. What else can I say.

With storm damage and closures due to COVID, the Zoo is in poor shape. If you like flamingos, the zoo is great. If you want to see animals in a more natural habitat, you are better off watching Animal Planet.

Zoos exhibits and upkeep are poorly maintained lots of the animals looked skinnier than other animals I’ve seen and others zoom. you can tell that the zoo isn’t properly funded by the city perhaps getting together in funding the zoo properly would be beneficial to the pedestrians and animals. It made me very sad to the this animals in such poor conditions.
