Very fun, walk at your own pace. Lots of interesting animals to look at. The aquarium is small. Can bring your own ice chest in, just no alcoholic beverages or glass bottles. They do have plenty of restrooms.

Wonderful!! The staff is amazing! It's clean and the animals appear to be very well taken care of. the gift shop prices are a little high but the staff is wonderful.

The animals are just placed on lawns throughout the facility. Not much work is done to recreate the environments in which they originally habitate. Furthermore, they're often just behind chain link fences, which makes it difficult to see, and makes it feel much more like a prison for the animals than a shelter for them.nnThe informational panels could use a little bit more detail.nnThe whole park seems to need some serious upkeep.nnThe staff were very friendly and kind. The pricing was very decent and fair.nnIf you're able, the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans is much better in every aforementioned category.

Friendly, funny staff ready to help however they can. Great facilities! I just wish the aquarium was open. It's unfortunate that it isn't. The gift shop is also extremely disappointing. Many of the habitats look boring and kind of dirty, as well. A lot of the animals were making distress noises while we were there. Not sure what was up with that. Some of the habitats are also set so far back from the viewing area that it can be hard to see the animals depending on where they are. For instance, the bear, spider monkeys, and jaguar were all pretty far off. I guess there may be a reason for that, though. Not sure.nnDefinitely agree that the audubon is better, but I'm being lenient because I feel that the price closely matches the experience. And the staff were so kind and friendly.

The zoo was clean and pleasant but I was very disappointed with the large cat enclosures. The tigers, cheetahs, and the bobcats enclosure combined weren’t even the size of the hog’s or antelopes enclosure. they are creating a larger enclosure for the hippos and the giraffes but they need to improve the environment for the wild big cats. I know they try to separate the animals by continent but those animals should be moved to Africa’s larger section where they have access to grass, open space, and water fixtures. Even the bear had a smaller enclosure than the zebra. It was very sad to see such large animals in small places.
