Geaux Clean Car Wash - O'Neal

Its the good wash it still have tree saps on my 4Runner . But, I was able to wipe it out with the towel. Overall it’s the best wash for $18 with free vacuum. I’ll be definitely be back this weekend to wash my Tundra.

Really smooth, well laid out experience. Very similar to the experience and setup at Benny's Car Wash. Here is the difference and why I and you will prefer Geaux Clean over Benny's. The post wash experience is all the difference. At Benny's, the same as Geaux Clean, after the wash you can go to the free vacuums to clean your interior. At Benny's they are way too crowded and if there is someone next to you, you can't open your doors all the way without hitting the car next door. Geaux Clean has vacuum areas that are much roomier and their vacuum hoses are always in excellent condition. Plus they have excellent suction to get your cars interior nice and clean. At Benny's the vacuum hoses have very weak suction, plus many stalls have hoses that are broken or kinda broken. It might be my imagination but maybe Benny's wash does a little better job of not missing spots on your car but not enough to justify the post wash experience. Pro tip: neither place does a perfect job of cleaning wheels. Geaux Clean has free pre wash buckets with long handle brushes. Stop there and manually clean your wheels with the brush to get the areas the automated brushes miss, then enter the car wash. You will be much more pleased with the result. I always just get a basic wash but today I said what the heck, let's try the the tire shine for 3 bucks extra. I was not expecting much because I cannot imagine how that stuff can be applied in an automated process, but I can say i am fairly impressed. Not as good as the Armor All foaming stuff I usually use but if you want a completely automated experience, your tires will get some decent shine on them.nNow here is the real question I have yet to investigate. I only wash my Ram 4x4 at any of these places. I also have a very expensive BMW M car that I manually wash. I would love to take it through the wash but I don't trust the guide rails that guide the car along the wash tunnel. When I visit family in Houston I use a similar car wash there and that one is safe for sports cars with super low profile tires. The guide rails have protection of some kind so they don't damage the wheels when they guide it. I asked one of the attendants the other day if it was safe for cars with really low profile tires and he said it sure was but his answer didn't make me feel very reassured. Awesome Geaux Clean location! I recommend Geaux Clean over any similar car wash in Baton Rouge. I love the pre-wash area you can use to clean out your car or pretreat the dirtiest parts of your car, which of course helps the effectiveness of the wash itself. Recently purchased membership. So far so good. I do wonder why the Central location has towels and this one didnt.
