Our daughter has medical complications, so when our A/C went out on a 90 degree day we were panicking. We called a local company to come out to diagnose the problem. Within 20 minutes they said we needed a $1,700 repair or to replace both our A/C and furnace units. The sales manager came out and promptly tried to sell us a $6,000 unit. That is a massive amount of money, especially for an unexpected unit. We decided to get a second opinion and called McCarty Electrical. From the start, Susan was extremely personable and sympathized with our situation. She knew we were on a time crunch and tried to do her best to advise us over the phone, the best course of action. When she decided she needed more information, she promptly had the owner, Tim, call us. He was so down to earth and advised me like he would a member of his family, not just another consumer. I explained our situation and he helped to guide me to make the best decision for my family. He had a tech there within 2 hours, who followed the troubleshooting all the way to the source!!! He didn't assume anything based on what was happening. He tested all the parts until he could tell, me exactly what the issue was. Turns out, we were able to make a $350 repair, instead of $1,700 and he made sure the unit was completely up and running before he left. I can't thank your company enough for saving us! Everyone from start to finish was an absolute joy to speak and work with.
