Palmetto City Police Department

There are a couple of great officers out there for the community and really made me feel welcomed, unfortunately the only one who really harassed me and showed no remorse looked just like me...I can't blame the whole Dept for his lack of sympathy or his predator tactics because one's poor judgement are not the reflection of the rest of them...No bad experience with any other officer sad to say I felt more protected by the encounters I've had with the others that didn't look like me...It shouldn't be that way, but I can't change what happened or how I feel now.

I met one of these officers late one night. I was passing through and was lucky enough to catch a conversation with him.nWhat a humble, professional and caring man! I could tell he really cared about protecting people from the first minute we spoke.nHe was a five year veteran of the police department, but Palmetto gut lucky hiring him. He retired, as a senior officer from the military after serving our country for wenty four years. What a distinction. Thank you Palmetto. Please thank your officers. People care about them.

The offers are decent respectful for the most part but investigation is to quick to get there conclusions one of witch was wrong but when you can't prove something then that's what happens they're innocent until proven guilty

Answer the phone unprofessionally would not help me with any of my questions

Thanks for letting me know that there is a Stop Sign at the end of Phipps Rd for right turns onto US 29 and not giving me a citation . Thanks again!!
