I went to Maggie's Weaving Studio to get my hair done for the first time on Black Friday. I wanted to wait a little while before doing a hair salon review to compare the way I felt about my hair the day of vs 2 weeks later. It hasn't been quite two weeks but I can already say with 100% certainty I loved my experience with Maggie, and I love my hair. She does quality work and your hair doesn't just look good for a day, a few days, or a week...it looks good almost 2 weeks later after going to the gym and sweating like crazy almost daily. Nothing is loose or shifting, my hair isn't breaking out, my head wasn't killing me after she finished. Nor do I lay in bed wondering and worrying if I will still have edges after this hair style because she pulled my hair so tight while braiding or doing my hair. I know they will survive because she took care of my hair and took care in handling my edges (yes they are THAT important lol). The deep conditioning hair wash/treatment was absolutely amazing as well. Her salon was clean, she was on time for my appointment, and she wasn't trying to do 5 heads at one time. My appointment was my appointment. Maggie was kind, friendly, and fun. She was professional, answered my questions, and was very organized. I can tell that Maggie cares about my hair not just about the way the style looks because she provided an accurate hair analysis and suggestion for care and growth. Her salon is nowhere near my home but that's okay her service is worth the trip to Stone Mountain. I've found my new salon home and will definitely go back.

An absolute great place to pamper yourself. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about good hair care which is very important to me. Thanks Maggie, my hair looks beautiful.

Maggie does a great job with hair. I loved my hair when I left. I got a sew in.

Usually my experience is okay but this time even with an appointment, my hair stylist was not there. She has a new assistant that prompted me to wait when I arrived. I did, for half an hour. I asked when my stylist would arrive and she said that she didn't know so I left. She could have washed my hair and prepped me until my stylist arrived. At any other salon they do that courtesy. Im sad to say that I won't be returning here, it wasn't a good experience. Also I had my young child with me and the music was full of profanity. Not family friendly. :(
