Dropped off a suit for an event over 24 hours in advance and was assured it would be ready in time. Came to collect it hours after it was supposed to be ready and cleaning was not even started. Clothes were returned without charge but no effort was made to resolve the situation and was left without time to get a cleaning service elsewhere.

I went in today with three bags of clothing, sweat pants, jeans etc and the lady at the front desk didn’t know what she was doing. She had to call Someone else to help her enter my information then she calls them back because she didn’t know how to charge for my items. At that point it was a sign not to trust them with my clothing because she can’t even charge me properly. So why would I trust you to clean and keep up with my items until I pick them up?

Lisa is very nice and I used them since moving to the area...I mentioned I wanted heavy starch in my shirts and they kept coming back flimsy. When I complained I was told they were blended shirts which they definitely were not. They had been laundered many times at other cleaners before we moved here and never been an issue.nThey charge very high rates for their services so if I can't get what I want I'll go elsewhere

I first began using them eight years ago. Local business, support them. After hands changed from Rob nothing but issues. Gave them a very expensive suede jacket and asked to have a “SPOT” one spot cleaned. Left LARGE note in bag “Please try to remove spot and press flower on back”. (Jacket was in a smaller bag w/the note). I was charged for the entire cleaning. Spoke to Rob who said they don’t always look for anything but items. We agreed that I’d pay a small amount for cleaned spot and remainder would be a credit. Kept all receipts and then brought in a vintage designer scarf & sweater. I arrived and was told she wouldn’t clean until I paid my balance which would be paid when I picked up the items. Gee, considering I’ve been using them for eight years & considering where I live, they would have done the cleaning. The woman said they could not get in touch with me. Hmmm; after 8 yrs. they lost my number. Rob was much better atnrunning the place. Not just this issue but the prices are verynhigh in DC & alterations. You want to shop local to support businesses but this was ridiculous. Oh, and I asked to have a copy of charges from what was owed. We really don’t DC often so I’m confused. New ownership since last year? What happened?
