The history of the buildings here, documented on the signs here, completely omits any of the Spanish settlement of Florida. The native plants uses are credited towards the tribes from the area. African peoples history is also completely omitted. Felt like looking at an grossly incomplete historical collection. Other than that it's nice.

Great place to take pictures and interesting. So much to see but wasn't able to go inside the buildings at present. Love that it's free...wish it didn't close so early (4pm).

This place is amazing !! .. 21 acres of history.nnThis village has 31 historic structures that visitors can see by themself and 2 that required a tour guide due to the value of the exhibition. This place has incredible items that make you feel you are traveling in time.

I enjoyed going the Heritage Village. I have gone there several times and have enjoyed every time. But this last time I went ALL the buildings are closed and we aren’t allowed to go in. COVID or not it’s an out door museum... if the children’s museum of science can figure something out and make it work for people to enjoy then Heritage Village I’m sure could figure something out as well. It’s hard to enjoy the history of the building from the outside.

What an unexpected find..various houses from FL’s history lovingly restored, set in a pine forest. Relaxing, educational fun. Worth donating a few $
