This school ....... it's nothing like it use to be . I registered my son who will be going to kindergarten next year and a week later I switched him to his zoned school. The front office staff is unorganized and unprofessional. After having to call the school board on them due to their lack of professionalism, I then learned that not only were they getting a new Principal next year due to the performance of the school (Grade D) but 36 out of the 37 teachers will be replaced . I feel I made a great decision by sending my son to his zoned school.

I too went here in 4th grade in 1993, what happened to the beautiful original building? While the kids here were not friendly I remember the school has such a beautiful look to it.

My grandson has attended the Gulfport Montessori Academy 6 years, K-5th, and we have had a positive experience. The program has grown and improved every year ! The hands on , out of the box learning has expanded the learning experiences. We will miss GME, but we are blessed for the foundation we received !!

The front office was very unorganized. My son is in Pre-k and they had no clue he was supposed to be a bus rider and even what bus he goes on. Never met the principal. Very poor school. Cant wait to transfer him.
