My friend and I met in Payson for her birthday lunch. Payson is half way mark for her coming north and me going south. We met up, parked her car and went to find a place to eat. When we finished, we could not remember where we left her car!!! We didn’t know what to do, so we found the police department and went in to find 2 of the nicest ladies at the front desk. They got officer Sandoval to try and help us. She took us around trying to help us find it. Other officers also got in trying to help us. They were all exceptional and so helpful. They found my friends car!!! I want to I recognize these totally awesome officers, mostly for their patience with these 2 old ladies!!! Thank you officers Sandoval, officer hall and officer whiteman? Hopefully that is her name?? There was one more policeman I didn’t get his name but you were all wonderful thank you so much!

I just wish they would take note of not so busy roads with speeders and just ticket them. They said they couldn’t just sit around and pull people over. I guess some things are more prioritized than others.

I have held this in for years now and it's caused me a lot of mental distress and depression. I had an encounter with an officer, who used to be with Payson Police Department, named Shaw. Long story short, he lied about making the arrest, lied about the time, lied on the report... I mean not a single thing was consistent on his report and I can't even believe the court accepted it for anything. On top of this the so called "Victim" stood up for me and when he read the report he even said, "Wow that's Bull, that cops a total a hole". He and I were absolutely appalled at what the report said. Sorry, but officer Shaw gives cops a bad name. I have zero respect for him as a person and as an officer of the law. I have dealt with wonderful officers on a daily basis because of my job, and he is not one of them. This entire thing has severely hurt my work life, despite an expungement on my record people are still somehow finding the records. Another time I borrowed my dad's car literally to drive a mile down the road to Wal-Mart to pick up a kennel for our new puppy since my Car had no room and a cop gave me a fix it ticket for our headlight that shorted out. That's fine, I don't mind fix it tickets. What bothers me is that he gave it to ME when the vehicle wasn't even remotely my responsibility and he had all the owner's information in his hand, and that he promised me it wouldn't be kept on my records if we paid it off. Low and behold it did. Even my dad's response was, "Why the heck would he put it in your name?".

I have always had great interactions with this police department. Friendly and engaged. Recently, an officer of this department named Alex Knighton, who used to work for me, entered his old place of work and told my employees ( his former co workers) that he hated me and would like to "find me on the street so that he could arrest me and put me in handcuffs". I think this was because he was not a high performer and we had to have constant conversations about how to be respectful customers and their needs. I would like to have this publicly posted because I viewed his statement as an implied threat.
