Maitland Ace Hardware

Great Experience at Ace Hardware - Maitland. We went into the store looking for a Green Egg Grill. ( They had a huge variety compared to the Ace hardware down the street. So if this is what your looking for look no farther! ) We went into the store not 100% sure on size or accessories we would need. Clayson answered all of our questions and was absolutely amazing! We wanted to take home the grill that day vs wait for delivery which wasn’t a easy ask considering the weight of these Grills. Clayson had us in and out of the store with everything loaded in our car and helped us with assembling instructions so that we could cook out that night. I will definitely be coming back to the store for more Green Egg accessories! Go see Clayson he knows his stuff! A+

I feel like ACE took advantage of the fact I am Deaf and couldn’t hear them. I recently bought a Toro lawn mower from this location. It cost me 330$. The first time I used it the front wheel locked up and would not turn. I took it back 20 days later to the store and asked for a replacement or a refund. I explained to them that I was deaf and I wanted refund or replacement. Apparently They told me they would fix it. BUT I specifically told them I didn't want a refurbished or fixed lawn mower. I wanted a new one or my money back since obviously it was a defective lawn mower. They said they had to send me to another location. A Winter park location for a New one. They took down my info and gave me a ticket. Two days later they text me telling me it was fixed and I owed 41$ for labor and new parts. It was brand new...I never asked them to fix it. They refused to replace it with a new one. Refused to refund me my 330$ even though I had a receipt and it was less than 20 days old.nSo having no choice I paid the 41$ and took the lawn mower home. The very next time I used the lawn mower....IT BROKE AGAIN. SAME WHEEL. And they are still refusing to replace it. I will never Shop at ACE again. The manager Erika claimed she didn't want to get involved and was zero help at all even though she told us in advance to bring it back. Quin is a nice guy but even he took advantage of the fact I can't hear and couldn't hear them or lip read them behind their masks. Horrible experience. I own a landscape and rehabs company. I have to buy tools and lawn equipment all the time. I have never had such issues anywhere else. I will be taking my Business somewhere else and I suggest everyone double checks anything they buy from ACE or this location. I'm out $371 bucks and all I got is a broken lawn mower. Gee, Thanks ACE.

I really like doing business for the most part at this ace local hardware store but I Was sorely disappointed today with their servicenI came today to fill my propane tanks four of them for a total of 50+ dollarsnIt was sprinkling outside today so they politely refunded my money and told me they could not fill my bottles i the rainnI drove less than a half a mile down the street to U-Haul who politely filled my four bottles- although I did have to pay three dollars more a bottle to have them filled- it was worth it for the convenience of getting it done todaynUhaul provides their employees with a tent cover so that they can actually service customers even in the rain , I would really suggest that Ace thinks about doing the same thing so that customers aren’t worried with trying to get back to their store after making a special trip to fill the propane tanks.

Always love any Ace Hardware. This was my first time in this particular store, and I was not disappointed. Clean, well organized sales floor, and friendly staff. In and out in minutes with exactly what I needed.

Love shopping at Ace! Convenient and laid back shopping experience, good music, good people, clean and organized.nNo complaints here.
