I've seen their police work as presented on a Broward County Grand Jury and can say that I am very proud of our police force.nVery professional. I witnessed other BC PDs and will say without a doubt that our PD is the best.

I am handicapped. I use a parking decal, we posted it in view as we always do. When I got out of the doctors office we had a ticket. Clearly the officer/ parking maid didn’t even look to see the decal. Also had an issue a few weeks ago, pulled up the police report and my statement was not on file, my husband’s statement was there and was manipulated. My husband wrote a letter to the judge letting the judge know that the officers left a false statement. Years ago when I got into a car accident, before I was married, one of the officers took my number from the accident report and was texting me for a few weeks trying to ask me on dates. I was going to report this, but never did in fear something worse would happen. We plan on taking legal action for the issue we had a few weeks ago, because this is not right how they are ruining people’s lives with false information on their reports. You can’t just write whatever you feel like writing and pick and choose which statement sound better and what you want to go with, because of biased behavior. I can’t wait to see these officers in court, and watch them go down.

The only part of coral springs I dont like. If you want a nice speeding ticket by some boso in a costume, drive through coral springs. Make sure you dont look at them wrong. They will probably tell you they have reasonable cause to search you, not find anything, and tell you your lucky. Over paid, under educated humans on patrol.

Setting up speed traps is not looking out for anyone's safety. Unless someone is a repeat offender, a person should not have to choose between paying for groceries or paying an insanely high traffic violation fine. I never see a cop around when someone is driving recklessly, but I am so proud that my tax money pays them to be sitting by the side of the road in rush hour traffic just waiting to meet their ticket quota.

If I could give our Coral Springs police department 10 stars I would! Lately they've been doing extra monitoring on Ramblewood Drive which some drivers have turned into a high way. I'm very anxious when crossing as a pedestrian because cars fail to stop even at the crosswalk near the school in addition to their excessive speeding above the usual 25/hr limit. Wish there was something I could do to show my appreciation!
