This is a great facility to view the numerous facts and our Astronaut's memorabilia!nI truly enjoyed the many exhibits and displays!nnSadly, this facility is located approximately 6 miles from the Kennedy Space Center Visitor's Center and the it's only open from noon to 5pm - but it's well worth a stop!

We had a lovely time today (Tues) We paid a second night in a local motel to see this. We were still waiting for the noon opening and so were many others. The exhibits were really moving and full of thought to place the lives of so many women and men into recognition. We did find some exhibits were not open, manned and the chance to go and see for ourselves the Innovation Space Shuttle were dashed as it was closed. This was a gift from our daughter to be able to come to Kennedy Space Center, and the Astronaut Hall of Fame. So all in all, we had a partially great experience able to see what we could. Perhaps the flu bug got to some staff members and they were understaffed today and could not give the entire exhibit an opening for those who gave a lot to try to have a full experience. It still was a genuine honor to see those whom we grew up watching for the last 50 years. It was wonderful.

Kids went to winter space camp! Awesome experience!

Pretty cool place, with a few interactive things for the kids to do. Most of the interactive exhibits were out of service, but they had a number of things to look at in glass cases. That didn't keep my two young children entertained long, but the entrance was free since we had taken the Kennedy Space Center tour.

Neat place. It has a 3D movie and a few interactive pieces about heroism.
