It was nice. I loved the exhibits that were free for those on a budget. Very informative and there is a lot to see parking is only $4 which I thought wasn't bad at all. I did not go to the sloth exhibit or the butterfly garden but maybe next time i will try to check those out too.

Except for two special exhibits of the museum, it's free to enter!

Due to covid we had to follow instructions on where to go. The discovery place was also closed. Other than that it was a perfect visit. We saw animals and butterflies (though they weren't flying due to the cold). Would definitely recommend coming with the family.

I had just an hour and a half to go to this museum. I knew I could get it done because I have been here before. today was particularly wonderful because it was warm outside about 77° so there were butterflies absolutely everywhere. The gift shop has really fun things in it and an amazing collection of books about Florida about butterflies and other natural history topics.

Stopped for to visit the Florida Museum of Natural History. Although some would say it’s small, I found this museum very interesting and a good place to visit. The museum is free but you can make donations. Parking is $4.00. The museum covers prehistoric Fl not just central Fl but all areas through current day. There is a eco system area, fossils, prehistoric, first settlers and info on several Indian tribes found in Fl. I especiallynLiked the marsh wetland exhibit. In the room the sound system was playing the sounds you would hear if you were in the marshland. Very memorable. Definitely something for everyone.
