At first glance, it is a somewhat small museum, but it has a lot to offer in terms of encouraging innovation and inventing. Being creative is something they highly encourage here. And the exhibit of Gatorade and Dr. Cade (who created the drink) is pretty cool and inspiring as well. Currently, they have an exhibit on Edison, Tesla, and Latimer, and it's very informative and entertaining. Overall, it's a cool museum to check out if you're around the Depot Park area.

This is a really fun place. The permanent Gatorade exhibit does a great job going through the drink's history (especially if you're a Gator fan). The creative labs are wonderful to get your hands dirty while learning about science and technology. And the travelling exhibits we've seen have been fascinating. Plus the museum borders Depot Park, so you can step outside for a picnic lunch or enjoy some fresh air. This is another treasure for the city of Gainesville.

The kids loved all of the interactive exhibits with puzzles and hands on materials to work with. The Gatorade exhibit was good to learn more about the product and the invention of the drink. It was a quiet and overcast day but there was plenty to do. My niece learned how to connect an electrical circuit to an LED light. I ended up purchasing a notebook with a space shuttle on the cover.

Invent and share. A very nice park for music to dinning. Or just lay around. A place for kids to have fun also
