I was given a spectacular virtual/facetime tour by a just as spectacular tour guide. After reading past reviews of Shady Oaks, I regret to not have experienced the aroma many seem to comment on. My favorite part was the silver, sleek dishwasher and the plethora of miscellaneous items, or artwork, throughout the various exhibits. I found the many carefully-curated pieces very moving and insightful. Very easy on the eyes. Would recommend to a friend.
Where do I begin? Shady Oaks gives the best tours along with the best laughs. The men at Shady Oaks are truly one of a kind. Hopefully they let me sit on the top couch someday.
Legend has it, before a big game Dan Mullen comes to Shady Oaks before a big game to talk strategy with the boys. He’s been doing it at least for the last 2 years which has been why UF has risen to become a power house football team. I’ve been given a full tour of the luxurious home by each of the tenants, and was so convinced of the homes longevity and structural integrity I decided to occupy the home for the next 12 months as the live-in maid. When you walk inside, you’ll always be greeted by an aroma of winning, meat on the stove and men on the couch. It’s quite the place to assemble and became a deeper intellectual. If you’re so inclined, retire at Shady Oaks today!
Swampy hospitality:nUsed to be a man in a do-rag and cut offs who kept a nice patch of Lima beans growing out back for me. Sometimes I’d sit behind a slash pine the edge of the woods and listen to the boys talk around the fire. Didn’t know I was there acourse, but I liked to pretend I was one of the gang. They never seemed to mind my smell...compassionate bunch. Really miss some of those who’ve moved out of the house.nn“Our task must be to free ourselves by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and it’s beauty.”n-Albert Einstein
It was the perfect venue for our annual Denim Dance. Couldn’t get Tebow to wear a jean jersey, but he was an agreeable host. One of these years we may get some ladies to attend.
