Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Williamsburg Historic Area, VA

I highly recommend this property for your visit to the Williamsburg, VA area. The staff from check in to check out were very accommodating. While we did encounter an issue with the a/c unit, we were immediately given an upgraded room. The evening staff were especially helpful with our move to the new room. Its got to be tough on all businesses during this pandemic and I think it's especially hard on the hospitality business. The staff and management at this property did everything possible to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable; enough so that we will certainly return to this property on our next visit in the Williamsburg, VA area.

1st off I called To make sure the pool was opened because I have lupus my doctor said it would be great, then I get here and they tell me that it's been closed for 2 months, my refrigerator does not work, I can't use my bathtub.. And the front lady at the desk was the most rudest person I've ever met and trust me I can be pretty rude!! Not to mention my family booked 2 rooms and had no phone or hot water!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! If I could give ZERO I would!!

We've stayed here previously, enjoyed it and wanted to book a return trip but somehow when I clicked on the hotel I then clicked on a best deal for a queen non-smoking and didn't know that I was now booking inadvetently through reservations.com instead of directly through the hotel website. Freaky!nWhen I needed to move the dates forward a few days it was an arduous process dealing through the third party and had to cancel because the dates are locked. Long story short, we canceled through the third party and simply called the hotel and talked to Tanya first then Michelle later who made the process oh-so-easy. So be aware and learn from my mistake, when you click on a room rate at your chosen hotel, make sure you're dealing with the hotel directly rather than through some third party you've never heard of.

We just spent 2 nights at this hotel. We have stayed at this chain of hotels before with absolutely no issues.n1. The hotel itself needs some attention. The carpet on the steps, carpet on floor two is worn, has bleach stains.n2. Our room. We stayed in a double queen room. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and we could feel the springs through our mattress. There was a red stain on the floor. Appeared to be some type of paint. The copper wire for the air unit was exposed under the curtains. The bathroom door contained stains. The shower itself appeared dirty. The caulk needed replaced. The shower head cover was falling off the wall. Lastly, our tub drained at the rate of a snails pace. When I contacted the front desk, she appeared with a hair drain cleaner. However we were exhausted from our day and asked for it to be fixed the next day. The task was never completed.n3. The pool area. The pool is a decent size. The hot tub was closed, but no where on the website was that explained. I was upset but can’t do anything about it as apparently it falls under governors orders. However, while in the pool area I noticed some items that needed attention. There was a yellow stain at the bottom of the pool. Also around the handicap lift, it was completely rusted and very dirty looking.nOverall, we would never stay here again. There were several other hotels Nextdoor and we believe we would have had a better experience.

Perfect! Loved everything! Breakfast is served until 10 am, indoor pool is open till 11 pm!!! Room looked recently renovated, new furniture. Bath/shower style is... peculiar lol (at first I thought the walls are dirty but it's by design, everything is very clean!). Great location, 6 min to Colonial Williamsburg, 9 min to Trader Joe's. Foyer is tastefully decorated for Christmas, staff is very friendly. Highly recommend!!! Kids loved it!
