My husband and I are locals (Kinda since we live in Virginia Beach). This is our spot. We visited once in November and again for Spring break. I will forever stay here. Check in was easy! Even at the peak check in time. You guys are always super accommodating, always friendly. This time we brought my parents and they loved it! Even though the pools were closed because it’s not quite the season yet- we didn’t care! Loved walking the grounds, loved taking the kids to the parks, loved the convenience to everything and everywhere we wanted to do/go.
Covid messed our vacation up, all the jacuzzis be closed but still fun
Stayed for a week with my now fiance ud83dude09 We had a very nice quiet retreat. Rooms are kept nice and clean. Staff respectful. Parking spots marked, and just outside the door, so whatever time you get back, your spot awaits. I gave this resort a 4 just because of the carpet, they could use a new one. Other than that, it's a nice place.
It was very clean, the towels were very white and fresh looking. The beds were very clean. Most of all no bed bugs. I really like the setup. The only thing was the people above us had young children that was jumping late at night and it was our children that was complaining. They were having a great time that's all that matters. I told my kids to over look that cause it could have been us up there. Thank you Historic Powhatan, I will come back and tell my friends about you.
