Factory Antique Mall

You need 2 days to see everything.

I am traveling from out of town. I really did not want another fast food meal. Since we are staying in hotel across the field I thought let's give Tasty Bites inside the antique mall a try. Best decision I made. I had the homemade chicken noodle soup and grill cheese. It taste so good I got a second order to go! Thank you for making me miss home a little less today!

Great selection of lots of stuff really enjoyed going

Here’s the real skinny on these places. I’ve been a picker for 45 years and have never found a “Find or Deal” in this joint. You must remember that these “Dealers” have looked up all the prices on this stuff. Whether EBay or some kind of internet search. Remember these dealers have to pay rent, so their prices are going to be high. At $200 or more a month and a commission charge it’s hard to make any money in a antique mall. I mean we have to pay for those items we resell. Then there’s the 10% discount the mall gives the buyer if asked. Also the fees for credit card sales that are usually charged to the seller. So divide 30 by your rent cost, 10% off discount, 5% sales commission, and a 3% credit card fee on all sales..... you will in up owing rent at the end of the month and loss of your cost for the item. That’s why there is a lease. Once you are in a mall for the first 3 months it’s usually profitable. The other 9 months or longer, it’s going to trickle down to a crawl. All of your good items are gone and you are left with just “ STUFF”. This stuff, nobody wants. Remember now that you are still paying rent and the months you don’t even make your rent eats up all the profit you made in the first 3 months. So, at the end you have no profit, wasted time and resources and don’t even have the products you started out with or the money you bought it with. The Mall’s are the only winners. Yes, the Factory is a big mall, but really no bargains to be had. It’s a lot of stuff but very few desirable antique pieces.

This is by far the largest Antique Mall I have ever visited. Huge diverse selection of antiques. Lots of antique furniture that I didn't have the energy to walk through.nPrices are about what I would expect from a large collection.
