Both my parents are from Dante. I visited every other summer as a child and several family members attended the reunion this past August. My mom and dad still call it home ❤
What a wonderful museum! Small but has a lot of great pictures. I bought a nice book with a history of Dante!
It was great! The women I talked to were very knowledgeable and dear. Answered every question I had.
A must visit! So much to learn from the two wonderful women who own the place. I've lived in the area my whole life and learned so many new things during my stop. I absolutely recommend going!
While touring the area, we stopped by the Museum and learned quite a bit about the local history; Coal Mining and the Railroad in Dante. The Museum may be small in size, but it's enormous with rich history. The volunteers, who made the Museum what it is, should be commended for their deligent efforts to preserve the history of Dante. I applaud the volunteers.
