Agecroft Hall & Gardens

I participated in a guided tour of the gardens today. What a beautiful place. We were a small group with a very kind guide. Distancing is made easy outside. There was a whole lot to be seen. I will definitely check into getting an annual pass.

Agecroft is a piece of living history and a perfect way to visit another culture without ever leaving fair Virginia. The docents were knowledgeable and laid back, and our inside tour was great. The gardens and courtyards were the real showstopper. Full of gorgeous tulips and redbud blooms in April, it will clearly be gorgeous here until winter arrives once again, and even then. Worth your time to visit.

Could’ve been nice, but they definitely give out the energy that they are not welcoming to all. It was my first time in that part of town and my last. Gardens are nice but if your making the trip to see a garden just head to Maymont. They’re better equipped to handle humans with civility.

Seriously a hidden Richmond gem. The view of the river is stunning. Feel like you've traveled back in time and explore these gorgeous grounds. The citrus growing in the gardens in the spring and summer was the icing on the cake for me..this might be there most beautiful park within city limits. Prepare to be blown away

Wonderful experience! Guides were very friendly and knowledgeable and the house was incredible. A history lovers dream.
