Falls of Dismal

My favorite waterfall...

We came across this feature while exploring the mountains. It is a gorgeous waterfall! A quick hike from the gravel road. Right off the Appalachian Trail and close to Walker Valley.

Breathtaking

The Falls are pretty. It's a short walk down a hill to them. The road to get to the entrance is not suited for most cars. It's gravel with a lot of ruts and holes. I think this is more of a swimming hole than a hiking destination. It is well loved by people that don't understand how to properly dispose of trash and diapers.

Fun cozy little water fall for the whole family or serious hikers!
