E-Z Way Laundromat

On January 14th, around 5pm. My washer got stuck on wash. I waited a hour and 40 minutes before having to call the fire department because of my washer starting to spark and smoke, they ended up having to unplug it. And said it was definitely an electrical problemn. On top of all the washers still being out of order even years later, I took my clothes out of the dryer and another gentle man put his clothes in it within 3 minutes the dryer door had shattered in his face. I am thankful didn't happen to me or someone else he jumped back when it busted. I will not be returning to this location and quite honestly for the safety of the people this laundry mat should be be shut down until they figure out what they are going to do... and the bathroom is out of order and has been the other set of doors are still broken so you can get out in a timely manner in case of a fire. Most people who washed clothes tonight are highly unsatisfied and felt endangered by the conditions and and the lack of ownership. No emergency phone numbers. The one online doesn't work

Its hard to have a go to laundromat when you don't use one on a regular basis, but I will find one besides this business if I have to use a laundromat again.nWent to E-Z Way while my power was out. 10 out of the 15 commercial washers were out of order. Didnt check the residential style, as that is not what I was wanting to use. 9 of the 24 dryers were out of order as well.nAnd to top off the limited equipment the bathroom was out of order. Must have been out for a while, becuase when the gas station worker across the street seen me come in it was a presumptive no restroom.nnE-Z Way, I'm a plumber, if you need it fixed i will donate my time so your patrons can have a restroom. You meed a restroom when you spend over an hour someplace doung laundry.nnSomeome should be on the payroll or you should have a go to contractor to fix your equipment when its out. I know things have been hard with COVID-19, but when things get like this you learn to fix things and maintain them yourself. The level of maintenace will cause people to go someplace else. Ive worked the service biz for a while. I know people never treat things like they own it. But that is part of the territory, you expect it and prepare for it.nnI hope that this was just a freak occurance but it wasnt one that I will give it a second chance to prove the benifit of the doubt.

This place is garbage now. Everytime I go there more washers and dryers are broken and it ever getting fixed.

It's sad when I have to post something displeasing. I was in the area running errands and brought my clothes along with me to avoid any unnecessary stops.nnAt this time I kind of wish I'd of just taken the extra initiative and gone elsewhere. The majority of the washer units are labeled as out of order. So it's slim pickings, thankfully however, no one else was here.nnI understand that life happens and possibly the owner(s) are going through hardships, so I won't be hyper critical. The washers and dryers that I did have the pleasure of using worked wonderfully, my clothes were cleaned greatly, however the timer on the washers is a bit askewed. It said 31 minutes, so I promptly set a timer as to not have to stand directly in front of the washers. Timer went off and to my dismay the indicator listed it as 11 minutes left! Set another timer for 11 minutes and yet again, 4 minutes left.nnThat being said, I'm not entirely unhappy, just wish I'd of known before hand!

This facility is the closest one to me and it's not bad overall but theres a few concerns. One is that people do not wear masks. I am the only one that will be wearing a mask. There are also no signs up at the side entrance that mentions anything about wearing masks, which is the only way to enter since the front doors are locked for entering and exiting. It does note limiting the number of people that occupy the building at one time. I sit in my car in between washing and drying for this reason. Also, there are many machines that are out of order and now the bathroom is out of order and has been for a few weeks.
