Ramada by Wyndham Wytheville

When we arrived, we were given a room that was already occupied by another family. We did bot know and walked into their room at 1:30 am. When we eventually got the new room, there was a dirty towel still hanging in the bathroom and hair in the tub. On a positive note, it was remodeled and fairly new inside the room. Overall, it wasn't the worst place I have seen, but I did not feel cleanliness nor safety was addressed.

It's cheap no frills. So less than luxurious was perfectly acceptable. Also they returned an item I left behind.

I was put in the wrong room then the keys didn't work after I moved to the correct room. It was dirty and it smelled. Stayed for 4 hours and left. Thought it we better to keep driving all night then to stay there.

I stayed at this location for 12 days, check in was easy. The gentlemen who checked me in was very friendly. The room was older but clean and it was quite. The reason I am giving 1 star is because I did not receive my points. The younger girl at this location is VERY rude. I did get my points after calling corporate. A guest should not have to deal with this. I gave the gentlemen my points# during check in. So it went from a 5 star to a 1 star. The young lady needs to learn what customer service is, in the mean time stay away from the guest.

The price I booked online was changed upon arrival by almost $40 claiming extra charges not explained. Also we were charged a steep $150 deposit that was in no way details when booking with wyndham rewards. I gave an extra star for the nice variety of breakfast items and coffee available all day
