I like this spot. I've been looking for fishing spots for 40 years throughout Virginia and everywhere else I travel. This is one of my favorite spots because it's fairly easy to get to if you know about it, it's out of the way and usually pretty quiet, and I've caught a lot of fish here. More often than not I catch something. I stop here almost every time I pass through the area if I have time.

Great place to boat, kayak and fish with family and friends
Easily accessible. Campground is right along the river, clean and cheap. The train that goes past regularly is loud, but that's expected!
