Vienna Police Department

To the supervisor on duty around 2pm today that stopped with another gentleman in his unit on Rt. 7 by the Walmart and helped me get my bike to a safe location, I would like to THANK YOU 2 guys for what you did. You were a life saver and a Godsend!!! I never got your names but I'll never forget what you did... Back the Blue!!!! And to the one gentleman who like the patch on my vest...I can get you one and it would be my pleasure to do that for you.. Today I was sitting in Glyndon Park in Vienna, knitting a hat and reading a book. I was approached by an officer in a marked car and a second in a plain car and told that my sitting in my car was suspicious. One officer checked my id and told me that if I wanted to walk in the park I should park my car at my mother's house on Elm Street a mile or so away and cross busy Maple Avenue to get to and walk in the park, and that I should not park my car in the parking lot to walk in the park! After the marked car left the plain car cop sat staring at me until I drove away and then followed me out of the parking area. I often sit in parks, read and knit for relaxation--this pair treated me like a criminal even after my id checked out and they saw me reading the book. One would think these officers would have something valid to do with their time.

Very responsive officers! I was in a wreck today and a very professional officer arrived in minutes. She deescalated the situation and quickly resolved the fender bender so we could both go about our day.

my food came out quick and the staff was nice. the salmon my sister got was a bit over cooked but all in all we had a good experience!.

So I was pulled over for a headlight being out and the police officer that pulled me over was very polite and curtious. It was one of the best encounters ive ever had.
