ZIPS Dry Cleaners

Update: one week later, I still have not heard from the management at Zips after submitting a request for follow up through the web site.nnI’ve been using this dry cleaner for years and have had good service and quality cleaning. However, I just had a poor experience with the tailor. She tried to upcharge me from what was listed on the board for a simple skirt hem. Nothing upsets me more than someone who tries to bamboozle me. Please honor your advertised prices.

Quick service and usually friendly front-end staff, despite being busy; however, be forewarned if you have an issue because the back office does NOT match the customer service of the front-end or what the company portrays; I’ve been a regular customer for years, but recently discovered damage to several dress shirts (small rips in the fabric) from one of their machines; I was told to “leave the garments for inspection my the manager, who will be in touch”; surprisingly, I didn’t hear anything for two weeks so I went back in to discover there was a form I had to fill out (would’ve been nice to know that previously when I was obviously frustrated about the damage to my shirts); form filled out, prices listed to replace shirts, and I was then informed that several other customers noticed the same damage; I waited probably another week to receive a call, but only an email arrived saying my garments were ready - still no apology! Stopped by again, was handed a check for an odd, unexplained total (definitely not the value to replace 4 damaged shirts), and told “you’re welcome”. I’ll have to think hard about trusting this location again with my family’s cleaning...

Very sad for the lady in the counter receiving customers, unpleasant welcome. Couldn’t explain the services which I asked for. She needs to understand she is working for the customers. Transaction took twice the time due to her arrogance. Wish I knew her name to post it here. Dropped off the shirts to be laundered and pressed, notified the lady to apply heavy starch. Least bothered to listen to me. Can the owner of this business kindly teach what professionalism is to the employees over there? Never coming back to this location. Let me see the quality of the work they do & give them one more review. I would suggest the lady to quit & get another life if not interested to deal with the customers. Agitated

Tried going in, before COVID, to have a hemline altered. However the alteration counter's hours differ from the business hours. Which would be fine except that the alteration counter's hours are not posted on their website or google.nSo I didn't appreciate the employees curt response implying that I should have known not to show up at that day and time especially after I drove 20 minutes out of my way to go there.

Very good work at a very fair price.nGreat alterations. Very reasonable.
