Works good most of the time, it’s a 2 bay wash area with 1 coin machine and 2-3 vacuums. Self-service car wash’s are in VERY short supply in Fairfax county for some odd reason (probably overhead in this high dollar area) but this is one of few.nnThe owner tries to keep up on the high maintenance of these type of services/wash bays, but the high demand and heavy volume of use, plus inconsiderate users leads to failure of the machines (spray wand/soap brush) on occasion. Price per wash is $5.00 and gives you an allotted time to wash, depending on size of vehicle/item, the $5.00 to start wash should be enough to satisfy, you can always add more $ before the time runs out. Always check the bristles on the soap brush before use as an unkempt or dropped brush can have rocks or sand leftover in it leading to paint swirls/scratches. In freezing weather the machines may not work. The kiosk for both bays takes cash bills, change, and card. The odds of both of them accepting all forms of payment during the same is unlikely, so be aware of that and be prepared as to not hold up the line.nnThe vacuum prices are decent at $1.50 for 3 minutes and they sure do suck (in a good way like vacuums are supposed to). There’s an air machine that is $1.00 and it is pretty reliable.nnFinally, it’s located in a seedy part of Fairfax circle, it’s always been this way since I can remember so don’t expect this to be some “Executive top notch” car wash. I plead all users of this car wash to treat the machines with care and be considerate of the people around you, possibly waiting in line as remember.. there aren’t many of these self service washes around in the immediate area!
