Wonderful tribute to a tumultuous time. Easy to access from Route 460. Not much shade, but easy walking.
Actually had a retired, very knowledgeable school teacher for a tour guide. An amazing memorial packed full of meaning. Everything their is intentional and was purposely placed. Very respectful.
A nice tribute to those who sacrificed over the days of the invasion of France. Pleasant and picturesque with awesome views.
Nice place to visit. If you are a student of US History, it would be good to check this out.
Very surreal and informative. I'll never forget my uncle Claude Timmons, the sweetest, Godliness man I've ever met,went through a terrible bout of dementia before he died in 2017 at 92 he would say I ate sand for those people, talking about his health care workers. RIP uncle Claude and all those that sacrificed then.
