The American Civil War Museum - Appomattox

Really nice museum and super friendly staff. Great little gift shop and a cabin to walk through. Clean restrooms and picnic tables if you bring your own food. Discount for millitary, first responders and teachers. Well worth a visit.

History is always a great thing to learn. The artifacts on display where impressive to see.

Lots of displays. Pay attention. We must always strive to do better. The displays depicting the truth of slavery made me cry. We should all weep for the evil men do, and then get up and be the force of God that prevents it happening and heals what has been broken in the name of evil.

Nice little museum. I've seen bigger and better but it was well worth the visit while we were there.
