Amazement Square

We've been to several children's museums in our travels, and honestly didn't expect much since Lynchburg is a smaller city. Wow! What a pleasant surprise! This museum is top notch. 4 floors of educational fun with something for all interests and abilities. It's easily right up there with the Pittsburgh Children's Museum which is recognized as one of the best.

Best children's museum... ever! The entire building and all four floors are crammed with educational and interactive experiences for children of all ages. The staff are warm and caring and love to see families having fun. The displays themselves reflect Virginia's history and are top notch, designed with care. I have so many happy childhood memories of playing here, and volunteering at Amazement Square as an adult is just as fun.

My daughter and her husband had a birthday party for their 4-year-old. Everyone had a wonderful time. The staff was more than helpful!!!

Great place to gather with family and friends.

Great experience for the kids. Lots of space to be socially distant and still have fun.
