Avoca Museum

My husband and I had the pleasure to take a tour of this beautiful house. The tour was absolutely phenomenal. The tour guide, Michael was so informative and thorough. If you have the opportunity to visit, please do so!

We had a beautiful fall wedding in the late afternoon on the beautiful grounds of Avoca. The staff are very accommodating, and the venue had all the amenities and facilities we needed to host a lovely celebration with our friends and family! I would highly recommend it as a wedding venue!

What an unforgettable tripuff01Not many people may know about it, so few have come. The reception time seems to be short, so you may need to contact in advance if you want to visit. Beautiful Victorian style, very well preserved interior decoration. You can even see the fine dishes stored in the host's house .nnsmall crowds are more intimate ,the staff are very patient and articulateuff0ctook us to almost every corner of the house.nnExcept for the kitchen outside, the smoke room.It also has a beautiful botanical garden for weddings.I can't wait to introduce this museum to my friendsuff01

Very beautiful home and history. It was easy to imagine life in this house 100 years ago.

The Avoca museum is a great Campbell county resource located at the first entrance into Alta Vista. It is full of local history, historical artifacts, and a helpful and friendly staff.
