Beautiful scenery...stayed over in the lodge..staff was very friendly and helpful..look forward to another visit

I am glad you have all the resorts you own. I will be sure to never stay in one again. We have stayed here before and it is nothing like the place we stayed in the past. The evening manager, a man, was the only bright spot. The place is deteriorating, not being kept up and bathroom floor had not been mopped. I did that myself. The towels were never ready for replacement and the staff was young and cut. I can tell your bottom line is MONEY only. So sad to see such a nice friendly place go in the wrong direction. Oh, I was looking forward to the wonderful gift shop. It has been replaced with a tiny shop with uniform, cheap options. No unique gifts or clothes. We had brought family and I had talked it up. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

Beautiful area, love riding the parkway and it's a great place to stop for a bite to eat!

Very clean room. Lots of measurements taken due to COVID-19. Good location- it’s on a little pond on blue ridge pkwy. All the rooms have pond view. But WiFi was horrible, could barely send a message. Given the situation that we were in the middle of nowhere and no phone service(for either Verizon or t-mobile), it was quite inconvenient. And no house phone in the room either. Also no breakfast other than some to go snack on weekdays. No microwave. No hairdryer in the room(I think you’ll have to ask the front desk, but again, no service, no WiFi, no house phone in the room. And your room can be quite far from the front desk)

This place should be called the Peaks of Otter Motel. The views are gorgeous, and the location is ideal. However, we were very disappointed with the room. The beds were uncomfortable, the towels crunchy, the bathroom tiny, and the walls are thin as paper. We could hear everyone around us having full conversations. The food in the dining hall is tasty but massively overpriced. Oatmeal was $8 for goodness sake. I cannot recommend this place unless you’re hiking through and need a one night stay.
