Waynesboro Police Department

The officers of the Waynesboro Police Department deserve the thanks of the community they serve. They put their lives on the line everyday to make sure that the people can be safe. They are a great example of true public servants. I stand with the Thin Blue Line. God bless you!

I have lived in Waynesboro Virginia for 40 years Too long. This police department has a mixture of really good offices and some really bad cops. The ones that are really bad are really bad ! I had to serve trespassing papers on one of their officers for harassing and stalking me for five years I had to go to the state police and they told me to serve trespassing papers on him, I did! They also told me that no one is above the law ! I sincerely hope that my conversations with the governor of Virginia and the attorney generals office will prompt them to take a good look at what’s going on in this Police department!

Apparently when you call on people who leave their animals tied to trees without food or water or out in the freezing cold without shelter, NOTHING gets done to help the animals

You know its sad i see people get pulled over on king avenue all the time for speeding but i just followed a cop up thru there going 50 and he ran the stop sign at the end got it all on film stop breaking the laws that your suppose to be enforcing protect and serve not harass and take all your money BADGES DONT GRANT EXTRA RIGHTS

called them once by accident and the officer was very brash and hardly listened to anything I said, she demanded I tell her everything about myself and who or where it was that I was trying to call.nnshe was very threatening and overly suspicious of me and looking for a problem.nnthreatening to track me down and arrest me.nnthey possibly thought it was a prank call or something.nnfinally she says they will let it go this one time as a mistake call but to make absolutely sure of what number I am calling from now on.nnalso I lived in waynesboro long ago and they never have been there for me when I needed them.nnI was threatened once by a man who turns out to have prior sexual assault charges and he was looking for money and possibly drugs or something.nnhe became very erratic and the police were called.nnit took them an agonizing unacceptable 40 to 45 minutes to arrive, during which time I could have been stabbed and he would have had every opportunity to do whatever else he wanted.nnI don't trust them.
