Staunton Police Department

I have had several interactions with Staunton Police. Specifically regarding neighbors having mental crisis issues. When they have responded they have always been extremely compassionate and respectful. I hold them in the highest regard!

I needed fingerprints for a job at USGS so I went there in March 2017 to get them done and they were professional and prompt. They also were nice and since they were on the Brite bus, I decided to go for something related to a job.

Staunton cops are known to be the worst in Augusta County. They will follow your car all the way home, hide in every crack and crevice to try and pull you over for something, and when they do pull you over, it will be for something petty. The majority of the cops are ill-trained and if people don't exercise/ know their rights, they will take advantage of that. If you ever get pulled over, especially at night, make sure it is in a public place with people around.

Wonderful police officers serving Staunton. Every interaction with the Staunton Police have always been pleasant. I've thankfully never had to utilize their services, but with knowing people who have, they're doing a great job.

Officer Naomi Fetty is amazing, you can tell how much she cares about the protection of our community, and makes you feel safe. I enjoy watching her work.
