Betsy Bell Wilderness Park

Nice view. Noone around. Steep climb to the top. Bring your 4x4!

It's a good place for a short walk or ride to get a little exercise. The view from the overlook is nice.

A little difficult to get up the mountain if you have a small car (the website clearly says this), but the view from the overlook at the top is absolutely breathtaking.

Nice smaller patch of wild to explore in the middle of Staunton! Some trails on the Mary Gray Park side and the road to the top of Betsy Bell wilderness is pretty cool. Great lookouts at the top to see Staunton from above. I do wish you could see the downtown area better from up there though.

Great place for secluded hiking for beginners.
