Augusta Health Emergency Department

I wish all could have the same experience as my husband and I experienced at Augusta Health Emergency room. My husband needed be seen and I waited in my car. Unfortunately my husband forgot his phone and I called to check on him. The nurse caring 4 him returned my call and not only was she professional but just kind. Thank you. Then the doctor caring for my husband called me thank you Dr.Robert Cocke.

So far every appointment I've had there has been great. Very informative staff and they dont beat around the bush..

I went due to Abdominal pain and shortness of breath. Everyone from the front desk all the way down to the nurses and doctors were all reassuring and nice. I ended up finding out I’m pregnant and my baby was moving and heart beating and it was so emotional. Traci was the nurse who was with me and she was such a great person and very thoughtful on my situation. They checked me and the baby and I was discharged. Btw that hospital was so clean!!!!! Definitely would recommend.

Don’t expect any real care from the Emergency room people. When you bring your spouse in . Because she is having severe pain and already passed out once. They want you to sit in the car. Even though there policies posted on the door show what is needed as a visitor. Nope that is incorrect.
