When we interviewed agents to help us sell our 6 acre framstead in Harmony PA, most had the same response. There are not enough good things that I can say about Elaine Shetler-Libent. My husband and I were looking for a unique property in that we needed enough acres to build a barn and move our horse onto the property, wanted a mid-sized and fairly new home that we wouldn't have to put a ton of work into, and also needed to be close to my husband's work and within a reasonable budget as young first-time home buyers. We went through 2 realtors who just sent us a bunch of properties that didn't really fit our needs, and made it clear that they weren't listening to us and didn't have the connections or knowledge they needed to find us the property we were looking for. Then we found Elaine, who seemed to know everyone, had excellent relationships with local inspectors and lenders that she could refer us to, and had a list of agents who knew that she was the go-to for buying the type of property we were looking for and contacted her as they were listing properties. She was knowledgeable about what to look for when touring a property, made excellent points about all the random little things that a home buyer wouldn't even think of, and we ended up buying the second property we looked at with her. She responded to our e-mails and calls promptly, guided us through the buying process seamlessly, helped us work with a lender who seemed to be really interested in the best option for us, and we had a super smooth closing. The best part? Elaine still checks in on us to see how things are going and if we need anything. I am so, so grateful that we found her and we tell all of our friends and family that they should reach out to her, no matter what their home-buying needs may be.
