Harris Elementary School

I was only in this school for an adult educational workshop, after school hours, so I cannot comment on much beyond the facility itself. (1) Building is new, neat, clean, bright, comfortable. (2) Parking is a challenge, especially if you arrive at dismissal time. (3) The library (aka Media Center) is cheery, welcoming, and full of natural light. I was there when there were newly hatched chicks to educate and delight. (4) The students whom I saw seemed happy. (5) Looks to be relatively easily accessed by RIPTA, but I don't know how frequently. (6) Playground looks enjoyable. (7) I didn't see a bike rack but that means nothing more than I didn't see a bike rack. (Biking in that neighborhood would be quite a workout as the hills are steep like cliffs!) (8) The posted history of the school and Mr. Edward Harris was interesting.

This is the best skool I have ever went to give been at Harris since I was in kg and my favorite teacher are Mr games Mrs burns and Mrs Phillips Mrs manfield and Mrs ferry

justice for aria! how you going to let a 5 year old with a broken arm to struggle to dress her self and not give that child who pushed her a talk !

This school does not in anyway help work with the students parents. I sent a note a week before both of my childrens dentists appts that were scheduled at 315 and i needed to dismiss them at 245 and becayse they cant find the note i couldnt dismiss them and had to reschedule the dentist appts that i waited 5 1/2 months for and niw get to wait 4 more months just for a cleaning because this school wont allow parents to dismiss their child after 245pm and i showed up at 247pm. This school is just a perfect example of why parents who live in woonsocket dont want their children attending woonsocket district schools. They all suck. Atleast bernon heights worked with the students parents with teaching learning and appointments. Horrible horrible deff am transferring both my children out of Woonsocket asap
