We had the most amazing tour by Jonathan! He was incredibly personable and gave a great tour. If you are driving through and want a cool place to stop - stop here. Prices are very reasonable. The artwork and pieces in the home will not disappoint. Pretty amazing this gem of a museum is in the middle of nowhere.

Off the beaten path to say the least, but home to great western art and Montana history. Our guide was friendly, entertaining, and knowledgeable. If you find yourself around Harlowton, I'd definitely recommend paying a visit.

Price per value A+. We were so impressed with the property; the knowledge of our tour guide, Joe; the artifacts displayed and the friendly, helpful staff. We arrived around 11:30 and left at 2:00. Prepared to be dazzled by the furnishings, chandeliers, silver service, and items decorating the rooms. Thank you to the Bair sisters for their foresight and generosity to the people of Montana.

$5 admission. Last tour of the house is 4PM. If you enjoy touring homes (1913-1970 depending on how you define it), and you like gorgeous furniture (well, the wood dressers are) inside old homes, you'll enjoy this. It isn't a musum: it's a tour of a guy's home decorated after his death by his kids. Kinda weird.

Definitely worth a visit. Some great art work and the house looks like a movie set from the 40's or 50's.
