Our experience was good. Check in was fast and friendly and our cabin was the perfect size, quiet and warm. Since it's right next to the highway it is a little noisy but it's not terrible. We enjoyed the waterpark next door and the water temperature was just right. I do see how there are some things that could use some updates but if we had a choice we'd certainly stay here again!

Great place. The owner is such a great guy!

Super friendly service! Dump station has trailers stored so hard to maneuver. Had 32 ft trailer had to really maneuver. Move at least the one closest. Between the interstate and a frontage road. Trains too! Great tree cover. Overall served the overnight purpose.

I would like to preface this review by saying that the ONLY reason I am giving this KOA 4 stars (instead of 5) is because the facilities are relatively outdated, and there is some restructuring in the works. That being said, there are parts of the campground that have been redone by the new owners, and this place is only going to get better with the vision they have in mind for it. Other than it being in the works, this KOA was a pleasant surprise! We were looking for was a quick place to stay for the night, on our way through Montana, and it did not disappoint. The staff member we interacted with (I am horrible at remembering names!) was incredibly kind and helpful, and showed us a great amount of hospitality. It took us a lot longer to check out of our RV space than planned, as our trailer was having some issues, but that was no problem because there were plenty of activities to preoccupy my 2 kids! They loved the giant bounce pillow and playground, and I wish we would have had time for the pool. Additionally, there is a small fenced in dog area, so it was nice to be able to let my 3 fur babies off leash for a bit to sniff around on their own. If you are driving through, this is a perfect location, as it is only about a mile off I-90. The hookups for our trailer were very convenient—water, electric, and SEWER—as in, you don’t have to drive to another part of the campground to empty your tanks! Basically, we will be adding this to our list of places to stay anytime we drive out West, and I can’t wait to see the progress the new owners make!

Great spot right off the interstate - very convenient! Awesome gift shop/store, lots of activities for kids, plenty of space for parking and setting up a tent. Proprietors were extremely friendly and more than accommodating for folks coming in after hours. Only downside is it's right next to the interstate and train tracks so not exactly a peaceful night's sleep, but nothing some earplugs couldn't fix! And the campground is so well kept and clean that it made up for the noise. Will definitely be coming back!nTop off your experience by stopping at the Big Timber Bakery for breakfast. Delicious food and awesome service!
