Nice small campground with an epic 20 mile trail loop leading to incredible views of the Sawtooths high above Stanley.
Great place on the river. Clean and friendly
Stayed is Spot 13. Not much shade. Well was not available during our stay. Bear activity was high and a trap was in place. Road nose from light traffic on 75 was minimal on a Saturday evening.
It's close enough to Redfish Lake to day use there, and still quiet enough to get some sleep at night. There's a great trail that begins at the end of the campground for horses, hiking, and biking (both mountain and motor). There are several hot springs that dump into the river within a couple minutes. The campsites themselves could use a little work. There wasn't water available when we went, but there's plenty of places nearby to get more water. Take toilet paper (the availability is spotty in the bathrooms). If you have problems sleeping I would recommend a sleeping pad or air mattress. Overall a great experience though.
