Stagecoach Inn

When we stayed in Salmon on April 6th we were checking on hotels. We wanted to see a room at a NOT so “Super” one with a rude staff. When we went to the Stagecoach inn the lady at the front desk was so helpful and accommodating. She readily showed us a room before we made our decision which turned out to be a very nice and clean room. Breakfast was served the next morning which was included in the room price. The overall stay was very pleasant and would definitely stay there again. Thank you to the staff!

We loved our stay! We had a room that faced the river and the views were breathtaking! The rooms were so clean and comfy! And a big thank you to Lacie for your help jumping our car!

Beautiful hotel with awesome staff! Lacie was so sweet to my kids and went out of her way to give us ideas on what to do while we were in salmon. We will be returning soon!

Had a nice stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Left a jacket behind in the room. Contacted the hotel and made arrangements for shipping back to us, which was done quickly. Will stay again when in the area.

Nice location near the River and one can pay extra to have a river-view room; which we did. The room was spacious and the sound of a river is always nice. The two issues I have are:n1) Mattresses were too soft in the middle and I kept rolling into my husband who weighs only about 25 more pounds than me. It made for an uncomfortable night’s sleep.n2) COVID-19 has forced this hotel, as many others, to offer a different breakfast menu. We were offered a menu from which we could choose 3 items. All-in-all the choices were good despite the limitations. What was distasteful (and why I gave it 3-stars) was that when we asked for an extra cream cheese (the single-serving kind), the front desk gal told us she would give it to us but we had better not ask again or tell anyone. We chuckled because we were pretty certain she was joking. She wasn’t. We asked for an extra peanut butter for my son’s bagel and she made it VERY clear that this was the last “extra” she would give us. She explained that the cost of the breakfast was included in the room and could include ONLY the 3 items we picked. Extras like a cream cheese & pb would cut into their bottom line. It seemed stingy and unprofessional, even for a small town hotel.
