Shoshone-Bannock Hotel and Event Center

We stayed in their large suite and the room was absolutely amazing! It was a girls night and we had a blast! Giving one star less because check-in was supposed to be at three and even though they knew we were going to be there at three they didn’t have the room ready until almost 6. We ate at the restaurant and played the slots while we waited so it wasn’t a huge deal but we did have to haul all of our stuff back out to the car and change up our plans a little bit. We missed the bingo session that we were wanting to do at 4:30, but there was another one at 8:30 so like I said not a huge deal. They are being a little extreme on the mask rule I feel like, because even when it was just our group of five at our own party in the bingo room over 6 feet away from everybody else, masks were required to be worn over the nose and mouth the entire time. It was very hot and uncomfortable, and even when we explained that we were all sharing a hotel room they said it didn’t matter and forced us to wear them anyway. Also, in our room the fridge was leaking just A little. Also not a big deal, but for reserving the nicest and largest sweet you would expect little issues like that to be resolved. They also told us all amenities would be closed so we didn’t bring our swimming suits. When we arrived we found out that the pool was actually open for reservation only. It would have been a nice option but since we didn’t have our swimming suits it was out of the picture for us. The manager offered 10% off the room for our inconveniences, and we appreciated that.

I stayed in the resort hotel for about 7 nights over 3 separate occasions. Stayed in their version of Presidential suite, Jr Suite and regular rooms. No maid service was provided for my stays. Although staying multiple days, my room keys were deactivated each day requiring me to stand at front desk until an employee, I could see in a adjacent office, finally came out. Service at resort restaurants was good. Lack of service in hotel will have me staying elsewhere next time. At their price range, I expected better service.

Awesome rooms I didn't really win anything but my son did! Happy to say they have as smoking bar in the casino!!

Comfortable clean. Some fixtures need some attention, loose screw on plate of shower. Would recommend and will be back.
