Carriage House Inn

I am reviewing the RV park associated with this motel rather than the motel itself. The sites were small but pleasantly shady, and the park is conveniently located. We were assigned a space that had the utilities on the wrong side of the site. In addition, there was only one water spigot for two sites and no splitter. We had nowhere to hook up our water hose and the sewer hose ran across the ground right in front of the door...I felt this setup was substandard (unacceptable, really) given the $45 nightly rate. On the plus side, the manager did allow us to change sites when we asked. We also did not appreciate the snarky attitude of the owner (man) when we booked the site; however, the woman we spoke with about our connection issues was concerned and helpful. If I had another option, I would not stay here again.

I rated it a 4 because I brought my own place to sleep. Its quiet, located close to every thing I need, what more do you want.

Newly refurbished, kind staff, missing a few amenities but they were quick to bring us the things we were missing. A really nice stay nonetheless

The only reason I gave this 4 out of 5 is because the owners need to trim the trees for us big rigs. We stayed here from June to Sept 2020 in the rv park. Quiet & very park like with shade. The managers, Charles & Molly were exceptional. I just read someone wrote in a previous review that the sites were small. I don’t know where she stayed but we’re in a 36’ motorhome & the sites are quite roomy

We love the rooms! Spacious and clean and a cool country decor. The owners are so nice and even made us a special breakfast. We are staying a week and it’s so comfortable. And the prices are amazing. This is a gem in the woods for sure
