What a beautiful place! They have a nice clean restroom.. clean, warm changing room and 3 or 4 different pools with temperatures ranging from super hot to cool! The surrounding, snow covered hills and trees were beautiful! So serene and relaxing. Great spot for pictures.

This is not the same strawberry we all used to know and love. The employees at the front are incredibly rude and are not willing to work with you. The first employee who checked our bags immediately flagged us for our water bottles and dumped them out in front of us (it was only water) and said “I’m holding your money until our other employee checks the rest of your bags”. Out of multiple bags in our group we accidentally left one beer in our bag which we agreed to return to our car, no problem at all for us. It was an automatic no and we were denied entry completely. They did eventually apologize to us and said we could all go in as a group with only one towel per person and no bags at all (that meant no water). We all agreed to just leave instead. Don’t waste your time trying to fight your way in to get a reservation on their website just to have all of the good vibes wiped away just trying to gain entry.

I remember going to fire twirling parties here 20 years ago and the energy was amazing. The owners were absolutely fabulous people who cared about preserving our states natural wonders and actually really cared about the community and the people who visited there. I was thinking about going again, but it seems this place is somewhat cursed with the energy of the current owners. All the terrible reviews on how people are treated when they go there. These people need to sell this sacred place to someone who will treat it as such. Disrespect to the Native peoples and to Colorado.

I’d give this place a zero star review but it’s not possible. Absolutely trash customer service. This place has gone downhill horribly. The front gate attendant was horribly rude. They apparently have enough internet to find your reservation in the computer but not to accept cashless payment via card. When I didn’t have the cash the attendant told me “it says it on the website to bring cash”. No apology or understanding, just an annoyed tone. He then told us to go to town to get cash and he’d hold our reservations. We returned to town and 30 minutes later returned for him to tell us that he’d cancelled our reservations. The manager on duty (some Australian or Kiwi guy) took us aside to speak where he told us we weren’t allowed to enter. The front gate attendant is flippant and has absolutely no concept of customer service whatsoever. Their “manager” is a power hungry tool who, also, has absolutely no concept of customer service. Both people should be fired and should have to write apology letters to all the other reviewers who’ve mentioned their lackluster customer service and then find jobs in other fields where they aren’t allowed to interface with the public again. Bad hiring on your part, strawberry hot springs!

Guy at the front desk was extremely rude and unhelpful. We made reservations and politely returned alcohol to the car after realizing it wasn't allowed and he still denied us entry. Seriously? And who excepts cash only during a pandemic? We had it, but really?nnAlso you can only make reservations for 6 or less people at a time and a group of 12 showed up behind us, weren't berated, and allowed to enter no problem. Seems weird. If you want the hot springs to be private, make them private.
