Museum of the West, Museums of Western Colorado

The museum is pretty small, I wouldn't say it's worth the seven dollars but I do understand that these places must be having a tough time as of late.nnIt's insightful into cowboy stuff and mining as well, you will find some areas which have some info on Anasazi stuff too.nnThere is an awesome rooftop stairway which provides some awesome panoramic views as well.

Enjoyed this journey through the history of the Grand Valley and surrounding areas. They also have a splendid view from their tower 125ft up.

I didn't have very high expectations coming into this museum. We went when family was in town visiting. We were impressed with this small museum and will look forward to going back.

Great local history museum. Well maintained and laid out. Amazing learning adventure for any age.

Enjoyed this museum very much. A lot of information and plenty of exhibits. I just wish I had more time. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Grand Junction.
